Today marks the historic event of Barrack Obama’s inauguration as the 44th President of the United States. Landmark for many reasons, including the fact that President Obama is the first black American to hold the office, his swearing in means something beyond that for many others. It is a symbol of our growth as a nation; of unification, of a new sense of ideals and a fresh breath of hope. It is, in a sense, a chance to begin again, as a new, stronger nation, and as new, stronger individuals. It is a new way forward.
How will you begin again? What can you sacrifice for the greater good? Will you seize this opportunity to re-invent yourself, to serve others, and to find the new way forward for yourself?
